Tom & Boy Blue Check Pants

Straight out of a 1970s toy shop, these wonderfully oversized checked trousers are part of Tom & Boy's Toy Department AW26 collection, inspired by the playful world of Charles and Ray Eames.

Made in the same dusty blue, navy and cream check as the matching shirt, with fine orange and red lines running through, they've got wide, straight legs and a gathered elasticated waist. The shape is loose and easy, with plenty of volume through the leg.

But it's the little details that make these. A striped ribbon hangs from the waistband, finished with tiny colourful beads shaped like children's building blocks. A lovely reference to the collection's fascination with toys, collecting and the objects we remember from childhood.
