Mini Rodini Kittens Sweatshirt

A cream sweatshirt covered in strange little red and blue cats wearing bow ties. Excellent. They have enormous eyes, tiny paws and slightly suspicious expressions, and I particularly like how they wander straight off the edges of the sweatshirt rather than sitting neatly within the print.

The red and cobalt blue are brilliant against the warm cream, but it’s the striped trims that really make this. Red, blue and cream around the V-neck, cuffs and hem give it an old-school sportswear feel that works surprisingly well with all those cats. The V-neck is especially good – such a nice change from the usual crew neck and it completely changes the shape.

It’s cut wide and relaxed with dropped shoulders and a softly gathered hem, so there’s plenty of room without it feeling enormous. Inside is soft brushed fleece for extra warmth, with ribbed cuffs at the wrists.

This would be great with loose denim, cords or track pants, but I’d keep whatever is underneath fairly simple. There are already approximately seventeen cats involved and I think they have things covered.
