Sushi Soy Salt and Pepper Shakers

Pass the soy sauce. Or possibly the salt.

Fluid Market has turned a tiny bottle of soy sauce and a piece of salmon nigiri into a pair of ceramic salt and pepper shakers, and frankly the cruet set has never looked better.

The little soy sauce bottle comes in glossy brown with a red top and retro-style lettering, while its sushi companion has a white rice base topped with a beautifully ridged piece of orange salmon. Look closely and the shaker holes are worked neatly into the top of each piece, so they’re properly useful rather than simply sitting on the table looking excellent.

Bring them out with dinner, leave them permanently on the kitchen table or add them to an open shelf between meals. They’re particularly good for anyone whose kitchen is already full of things that don't take themselves too seriously.
