Seggiano’s Coffee Torrone is handmade in the Sicilian hilltop town of Giarratana, where one family has been making torrone for four generations. The base follows the traditional method: toasted almonds folded through whipped egg whites and slow-melted honey, cooked patiently until the texture is just right — firm, glossy and gently chewy.

Into that classic mix goes real coffee beans (a generous 8%), bringing a subtle espresso bite that runs through the nougat rather than sitting on top of it. The flavour is aromatic and rounded: roasted nuttiness first, then honeyed sweetness, with coffee adding depth and a faint bitterness that keeps everything balanced.

Each bar is slow-cooked, hand-cut and naturally gluten-free, with no industrial shortcuts. The texture lands somewhere between crisp and yielding, with proper almond crunch in every piece.

Excellent with an after-dinner espresso, or broken into shards when something sweet but not sugary is called for. A Sicilian classic, edged with coffee.
