Brigitte Tanaka Cabine Pouch

A tiny Mediteranean beach cabin made from organza. It's such a simple idea, but the details make this one particularly lovely – the softly striped pitched roof, embroidered door, sheer peach and cream fabric and bright red Brigitte Tanaka lettering running along the bottom.

The long, narrow shape is finished with a fabric loop at the top and a little silver chain and clip at the side, so it can be carried on its own, hung up or attached to a larger bag. The transparent organza lets you see what's inside without losing the delicacy of the design.

It's a useful size for all those smaller things that otherwise end up loose in your bag: sunglasses, make-up, pens, cables or travel bits. And when you're not using it, it's lovely enough to leave hanging somewhere rather than putting it away.

Brigitte Tanaka has taken something completely ordinary – the little changing cabins you see along French beaches – and turned it into something unexpectedly beautiful. Practical, slightly eccentric and very French.
