Mini Rodini Textured Frill Long Sleeve Body

There's something quite satisfying about this body without it ever demanding attention.

No prints. No slogans. Just the softest shade of lavender and rows of tiny scalloped texture running right across the fabric. From a distance it looks beautifully simple, but close up you realise there's much more going on. It's the sort of detail that makes people instinctively reach out and touch it.

I think that's why I like it so much. Baby basics often end up being exactly that... basic. This feels considered without becoming fussy. The oversized shape gives it a lovely relaxed silhouette, while the dropped shoulders and wide sleeves make it feel more like a little knitted top than a traditional baby body.

The lavender is gorgeous too. It's soft enough for a newborn but doesn't disappear into the usual sea of pale pinks and creams. It works brilliantly with denim, chocolate brown, moss green or even bright prints if you're mixing things up.

The poppers at the shoulder and underneath keep dressing straightforward, and because the body is built in, there's no constant tucking things back in every time they're picked up.

It's a lovely reminder that sometimes texture is all you need.
