Mini Human New Baby Greeting Card

Congratulations on your new tiny person.

A new baby card that skips the usual prams, teddy bears and pastel rainbows in favour of the things that are about to take over the kitchen cupboards. A pink checked sippy cup, enormous blue spoon and little brown bowl are stacked up against a warm cream background, with “mini human!” handwritten underneath.

The simple shapes and slightly unexpected mix of pink, powder blue, cobalt and brown give it a lovely retro feel, while the wording keeps things pleasingly unsentimental. Because sometimes “you made a whole new human” really is enough.

It’s gender neutral, doesn’t make any assumptions about who the card is for and leaves plenty of room inside for your own congratulations, wisdom or slightly ominous warnings about sleep.

A very good card for welcoming a new baby into the world — and the parents into their new life of inexplicably owning seventeen tiny spoons.
