Becksöndergaard Golden Cypress Green Alpaca Wool Triangle Scarf

Golden Cypress is such a good green. It sits somewhere between moss and olive, with those warmer golden tones running through it that stop it feeling too dark or forest-y. And in this fuzzy knit, the colour has even more depth.

This is the one I’d wear with all the browns that are everywhere this autumn. Chocolate, tan, tobacco, camel — it looks brilliant with the lot. It’s also really good with denim, and I love this sort of green with pale blue if you want something slightly less obviously autumnal.

The triangle shape gives it that very current little knitted scarf look, but at 160 x 55cm it’s substantial enough to wrap properly rather than just sitting decoratively around your neck. The tapered ends are also much easier to knot without ending up with a huge lump of fabric at the front.

It’s made from 40% alpaca and 40% wool, with nylon and spandex making up the rest of the blend, and has that soft, fuzzy surface that works so well with the mottled Golden Cypress colour.
