Farfalle Soy Wax Candle

Pasta night, permanently.

One enormous piece of farfalle, complete with pinched middle, ruffled edges and all the satisfying folds of the real thing. NATA Concept Store has scaled up the familiar pasta bow and recreated it in creamy yellow soy wax, with a wick tucked rather neatly into the centre.

At 95g, it’s chunky enough to hold its own on a shelf and looks particularly good in the kitchen amongst cookbooks, olive oil bottles and ceramics. There’s something very pleasing about a single piece of pasta being treated with this much importance.

The packaging carries on the joke, with its retro Farfalle box and little “al dente soy wax pasta candle” line across the front. Very good.

This is the one for pasta obsessives, Italian food lovers, keen cooks and anyone who would appreciate receiving an absurdly oversized bow tie pasta candle as a present. And really, who wouldn't?
