HKliving Lemongrass Linen Pillow

This lemongrass green is SO good. Bright and slightly acidic, it has that almost-yellow quality that stops it feeling like a predictable green cushion. It’s the sort of colour that can wake up a fairly neutral sofa without suddenly dictating what the rest of the room needs to look like.

The linen is important here too. It has a lovely visible weave and a slightly relaxed finish, so the colour doesn’t feel flat or overly pristine. And I really like the flange around the edge – such a simple detail, but it gives the cushion a softer shape and makes it feel much less formal than a perfectly piped edge.

I’d mix this with dirty pinks, tobacco brown, cobalt, cream or another green rather than trying to match it to anything. It’s particularly brilliant against wood.

Made from linen with a natural, textured finish, it works just as well on a bed as it does piled onto a sofa or armchair. A very easy way of getting a proper hit of colour into a room without getting the paintbrush out.
