Bobo Choses Tag Backpack

This is the sort of backpack that gets spotted from the other side of the playground.

Soft lilac, mint, bright coral, cobalt blue and olive shouldn't really work together, but somehow they do. It feels playful without being childish, and that's exactly why I like it. It's colourful, but it still looks genuinely cool.

The shape is lovely too. Slim enough not to swamp smaller children, but roomy enough for all the important bits and pieces. The front zipped pocket keeps snacks, little treasures or travel passes close to hand, while the larger main compartment has plenty of space for everything else. There's even a separate zipped compartment in the base, which is brilliant for shoes, a packed lunch or keeping muddy things away from clean clothes.

The buckle fastening gives it that classic rucksack look, but there's a zip hidden underneath, so it's much quicker to open than it first appears. It's those little practical details that make such a difference when you're trying to get out of the door.

I'd happily use this as an overnight bag as well as a school backpack. It's one of those pieces that feels just as fun for weekends away as it does for Monday morning.
