I Wanna Be Your Dog Keychain

A tiny cowboy dog and an Iggy Pop reference. This one was always going to be good.

Patch Ya Later’s I Wanna Be Your Dog Keychain takes its name from The Stooges’ 1969 classic, with their own brilliantly silly interpretation stitched onto an old-school motel keychain.

On one side is a little dog in a cowboy hat and red neckerchief, sitting between two tiny red hearts. The mustard yellow background, bright red border and row of silver stars give it that proper vintage motel feel. Turn it over and I Wanna Be Your Dog is embroidered in big, curly black lettering across the back.

The whole thing is embroidered rather than printed, including all those tiny details, and it’s double-sided so both sides are equally good. At four inches tall it’s pleasingly oversized too, finished with a simple silver keyring at the top.

Stick it on your keys, or it’s big enough to work as a charm hanging from a favourite bag or backpack. Mainly though, we’re here for the cowboy dog. Look at him.
