Bread & Butter Soy Wax Candle

A thick slice of toast, all those little holes and craggy bits intact, topped with a ridiculously convincing curl of butter. NATA Concept Store has once again taken something you’d barely give a second glance in real life and made us want to put it on a shelf and stare at it.

Made from soy wax, the Bread & Butter candle weighs 105g and gets the details very right — from the golden crust around the edge to that tiny pat of butter sitting on top. There’s a wick tucked into the middle, although lighting it does feel slightly like destroying a very small work of art.

The packaging is almost as good as the candle itself, with its retro butter-pack styling making the whole thing particularly satisfying to give. It’s a very good present for food lovers, breakfast obsessives, new homes, hosts, or simply the person who already owns enough tasteful candles.

Display it in the kitchen or amongst your favourite objects and wait for someone to realise it isn’t actually toast.
