Most pebbles spend their lives being quietly overlooked. Not this one.

It started innocently enough with a bit of stone-skimming across the water. One particularly impressive bounce led to another, and before long Pebble had discovered she had a real talent for riding the waves. These days she can often be found out on the lake, making the most of a breezy afternoon before returning to shore looking suspiciously pleased with herself.
