Jellycat Amuseables Flickerty Candle

Flickerty Candle takes Halloween very seriously. She’s the party planner responsible for the sort of spooky gathering where absolutely nothing has been left to chance – even if nobody else can make head nor tail of her plans until the very last minute.

A soft cream candle with a charcoal grey holder, embroidered wick and a wonderfully dramatic flame of orange and yellow fur, Flickerty has little cordy boots ready for all that running around making final preparations. The tiny stitched screws on her candle holder are particularly good.

Her Halloween moodboards are apparently baffling, with ideas changing whichever way the wind blows, but somehow she always pulls it off. Weeks spent burning the midnight oil result in tablescapes suitably spooky enough to give everyone shivers, which is exactly the level of commitment we’d expect from a candle organising a Halloween party.

And once everyone has arrived and is having a terrifyingly good time, Flickerty can finally relax and enjoy it too. Although after putting that much work into the whole thing, she could quite literally melt.
