Fries Vase

Some flowers deserve fries.

Fluid Market’s Fries Vase takes the familiar red takeaway carton and turns it into a glossy ceramic vase, complete with yellow edging and FRIES emblazoned across the front. Without the actual fries, obviously. That would make arranging flowers unnecessarily difficult.

The shape is what makes this one particularly good. It still has the curved, slightly wonky top of a proper fries carton, so even filled with flowers there’s no mistaking what inspired it. Bright red and yellow give it plenty of presence on a shelf, kitchen table or mantelpiece, while the simple shape stops it becoming too silly.

Fill it with a bunch of supermarket flowers, a few stems from the garden or something suitably extravagant. It’s also very capable of sitting empty and looking good all by itself.
