Bobo Choses Baby Tag Quilted Zipped Sweatshirt

This was one of those pieces we liked before we'd even looked properly at it.

The colour is lovely. It's that warm caramel shade that goes with absolutely everything, so you don't end up saving it for "best". Then you notice the little Bobo Choses badge on the chest and it suddenly feels much more playful without shouting about it.

The quilted fabric is what really sold it to us though. It's soft, cosy and has a bit more substance than a normal sweatshirt, so it's perfect for those days when it's too chilly for just a top but too warm for a proper coat.

We also like the zip. It's quick to throw on, easy to take off, and the little collar gives it a slightly smarter feel without making it look dressed up.

This is the sort of layer you'll reach for over and over again. It works with leggings, joggers, jeans or dungarees and somehow always looks good. That's usually a sign we've picked the right piece.

Sometimes the simplest things end up being the hardest working, and we think this is one of them.
