Christmas Cat Cut-Out Greeting Card

Hello, it’s Christmas. Delivered by a very fluffy cat.

Inspired by a vintage Christmas card, this letterpress cut-out version has a white cat with a big red bow and a sprig of holly tied around its neck, carrying a tiny note in its mouth with the all-important announcement. It’s ridiculous and completely charming.

The die-cut shape follows the outline of the cat, so once the envelope has been opened it becomes a little Christmas decoration in its own right. Stand it amongst the cards on the mantelpiece and that fluffy white silhouette is going to be very hard to miss.

There’s something particularly good about old Christmas card imagery when it’s a little bit odd, and this has exactly that feeling. The bow. The holly. The incredibly important message being delivered by cat.
