Soy Sauce Bottle Hand-Painted Compact Mirror

They've taken something completely ordinary, a bottle of soy sauce, and transformed it into an object you'd happily carry around every day. Not because it's trying to be funny, but because it's beautifully executed.

The hand-painted artwork sits on marbled biodegradable acetate, giving every mirror its own subtle pattern and depth. The black, cream and red palette is lifted with tiny gold details, and the whole thing feels satisfyingly weighty despite being slim enough to disappear into even the smallest handbag.

Designed in New York and produced in small batches, each mirror is individually hand-painted, so no two are ever exactly alike. It's practical, yes, but it's also the sort of object that reminds you good design can be found in the most unexpected places.
