Scorza Whiskey 38g

Dark chocolate and whisky. A combination that makes perfect sense, particularly when the chocolate comes from one of Italy's oldest chocolatiers.

Majani's Scorza Fondente Whisky pairs rich 60% dark chocolate with the distinctive flavour of whisky. Deep cocoa notes meet a warming whisky flavour, while the chocolate's unusual, irregular layers give it a texture quite different from an ordinary chocolate bar.

Scorza takes its name from the Italian word for bark, a reference to its wonderfully rough, layered appearance. First created in Bologna in 1832, it's one of Majani's most famous chocolates, still associated with the family chocolatier founded in 1796.

The beautiful raspberry-pink and gold packaging is almost reason enough to pick one up. At 38g, it's a lovely little gift for whisky lovers, an excellent stocking filler or something to keep for yourself when a square of ordinary chocolate simply won't do.
