HA KO Paper Incense - Sandalwood

Sandalwood is probably the scent most people associate with incense, but this feels like a much more delicate way to experience it. Warm, woody and slightly musky, with that distinctive sandalwood depth but nothing overly heavy or smoky about the idea of it.

HA KO describes this scent as one for focus and introspection, and their own description of the fragrance talks about bringing out the softer, purer side of sandalwood.

Each HA KO leaf is made from Japanese washi paper and can be used in two completely different ways. Leave it unlit and it works as a beautifully subtle piece of potpourri, releasing fragrance for up to three months. Or light the tip, blow out the flame and allow the leaf to smoulder for around five to seven minutes.

There’s something particularly nice about Sandalwood in this format. Such a traditional incense fragrance, turned into this incredibly simple little paper leaf.

When burning, place it on a HA KO felt burner mat (sold separately) on a flat, non-flammable surface. Never leave burning incense unattended and keep away from draughts and flammable materials.
