Arch Die Cut Multicoloured Christmas Greeting Card

Christmas cards don’t have to look like Christmas exploded on them.

This one keeps things beautifully pared back, with a huge powder-blue arch sitting above a brilliant check of burgundy, cream, chocolate brown and blue. A tiny “merry Christmas” is tucked into the corner, just in case anyone was wondering what all this excellent geometry was in aid of.

The arched top makes the card itself feel a little more special, while that almost tartan-like check brings in just enough winter without resorting to fir trees or snowflakes. The combination of pale blue and deep burgundy is particularly good — festive in a way that doesn’t immediately announce itself as festive.

A great Christmas card for the design-conscious, the difficult-to-buy-for and anyone who would take one look at a robin wearing a Santa hat and put it straight back.

Because sometimes all you need to say is Merry Christmas. Preferably in a very good font.
