Chocolate Grissini

Breadsticks dipped in dark chocolate. Leave it to the Italians to make something this simple so good.

Seggiano's Chocolate Grissini are handmade, crisp little breadsticks coated in 65% dark chocolate. The grissini are made with extra virgin olive oil, giving them a lovely crunch beneath the thick chocolate coating. It's a combination that makes perfect sense once you've tried it.

They're not quite biscuits, not quite chocolates, and that's part of their appeal. The contrast between the crisp, savoury breadstick and rich dark chocolate makes them particularly good with coffee, or as something to nibble on after dinner.

Made in small batches in Italy, they're also vegan, which is a nice bonus when you're buying chocolate gifts.

The red and white box is rather lovely too. A brilliant little stocking filler, an excellent addition to a food hamper, or simply something to keep in the cupboard for yourself.
