Child in Blue Glass Christmas Ornament

This one has the look of a Christmas decoration you’d swear you remembered from childhood. A little rosy-cheeked child bundled into a bright blue hooded snowsuit, holding a red Christmas bauble and finished with an extravagant amount of shiny gold trim.

The colours are glorious. Turquoise blue against metallic gold, deep ruby red shoes and bauble, tiny painted features and glitter around the hood. It has that slightly wide-eyed, old-fashioned character that makes vintage Christmas decorations so appealing, without actually having to hunt one down in a box at a flea market.

Handcrafted in Ukraine, each ornament is individually mouth blown from German glass before being painted by hand using vibrant Italian paints. Every piece is finished individually, so small variations are part of what makes each one unique.

Presented in a gift box for storing safely between Christmases, it’s a beautiful piece to bring out year after year – and a lovely gift for collectors of vintage-style and unusual glass Christmas ornaments.
