Red / Jack Stackable Hasami Mug

A brighter take on the classic Hasami mug.

Finished in a glossy red glaze, this version features Jack — the wide-eyed, slightly mischievous character from the OSAMU GOODS universe. Designed by Japanese illustrator Osamu Harada, the series first appeared on stationery and everyday objects in the late 70s and quickly became a defining part of Japanese pop graphic culture. The simple lines, halftone details and bold colours still feel surprisingly fresh today.

The mug itself is made in Hasami, the Nagasaki region known for its practical, well-crafted ceramics. The shape is instantly recognisable: gently tapered so it stacks neatly, with a solid square handle that feels reassuringly balanced in the hand.
