Becksöndergaard Golden Cypress Green Bruce Thin Scarf

This colour is doing an awful lot of the work here. Somewhere between chartreuse, mustard and moss, Golden Cypress Green is exactly the kind of odd, slightly murky shade that makes everything you already own look more interesting.

The Bruce Thin Scarf is deliberately long and narrow – 14 x 220cm – so you don’t get the bulk of a traditional winter scarf. Wrap it once and leave the ends hanging long, knot it close to the neck or just throw it on and let that streak of green do its thing. The fine fringed ends keep the shape simple and a little bit scruffy.

It’s made from a wonderfully soft blend including 45% alpaca and 35% wool, giving it plenty of warmth despite how light and slim it feels. The slightly fuzzy surface also softens the colour, which is particularly good against black, navy, grey, brown and denim.

A small scarf in a very good colour. Sometimes that’s really all an outfit needs.
