Chocolate Fig Salami

Seggiano's Chocolate Fig Salame is a wonderfully Italian take on something sweet after dinner. Shaped and wrapped like a traditional salami, it's actually a rich chocolate and fig confection, made for slicing into little rounds and sharing.

The combination of chocolate and figs makes it a particularly good alternative to the usual box of chocolates. Slice it up with coffee, bring it out after dinner or add it to a cheeseboard for something sweet alongside the savoury bits.

And the packaging is excellent. Wrapped in rustic paper and string, with a bright red vintage-style label, it looks convincingly like something you'd find hanging in an old Italian delicatessen.

A brilliant little food gift for Christmas, especially for someone who already has everything. Just don't put it in the fridge next to the actual salami.
