Bobo Choses Pink/Green Colourblock Sheepskin Mittens

Cold hands don't stop adventures. Gloves that have to keep coming off usually do.

The clever bit is the fold-back design. Children are forever needing their fingers for something, whether it's climbing, picking up conkers, opening a snack or wrestling with a coat zip. Instead of pulling the whole mitten off, they can pop their fingers out for a minute, then tuck them straight back into the warmth. Once you've spotted it, you wonder why every mitten isn't made this way.

The colour combination is pure Bobo Choses. Bubblegum pink, emerald green and a flash of bright orange shouldn't work together, but somehow they do. They're bright enough to make gloomy winter mornings feel a little less grey, without feeling over the top.

The borg fleece is wonderfully soft inside and out, making these the sort of mittens children actually want to wear. The ribbed cuffs help keep warmth in and cold air out, while also stopping them slipping off every five minutes.

I'd pair them with the matching colourblock scarf because together they're ridiculously cheerful, but they'd look just as good peeking out from the sleeves of a navy, burgundy or camel coat.
