Mini Rodini Violas Velour Onesie

This print is glorious. Proper 70s flower-power territory, with big violas in cobalt blue, coral pink, orange and mustard yellow sitting against a deep chocolate brown. The green leaves make the colours even richer – it has that brilliant vintage Mini Rodini look without feeling remotely twee.

And it’s velour, which makes complete sense with this print. Soft, plush and slightly retro, with the colours looking incredibly saturated against the texture of the fabric. I really like the little gold poppers down the front too. They could have been purely practical, but against the brown floral they look almost decorative.

The shape is loose and comfortable, with long sleeves and elasticated cuffs at both the wrists and ankles. The front opening runs down towards the crotch, making dressing considerably easier, while the simple round neckline keeps all the attention on those flowers.

It’s bold, but the chocolate base stops the colour from becoming too sugary. I’d happily put this on a baby with absolutely nothing else required. The print has done all the work.
