Mini Rodini Rabbits Blue Sweatshirt

This blue doesn’t exactly hang about in the background. A big hit of cobalt, an oversized shape and two rabbits across the front – one sitting very nicely, the other flying horizontally through the air with her feet behind her. No explanation required.

The V-neck is what changes it for me. You don’t see it often on children’s sweatshirts and, together with the dropped shoulders and exaggerated sleeves, it gives this the feel of an old sports sweatshirt rather than a standard crew neck. The hem pulls in slightly at the bottom, which keeps all that volume looking good rather than simply enormous.

It’s soft and fleecy on the inside, with ribbing at the neck, cuffs and hem, and plenty of room through the body. I’d lean into the proportions and wear it loose over leggings, or with wide jeans and trainers.

And while the rabbits might be familiar from the collection, putting one of them mid-flight was an excellent decision. Those orange paw pads sticking out at the side might be my favourite bit.
