Le Bon Shoppe Black Soft Jersey Terra Pants

These are really good trousers. Properly wide without feeling enormous, soft enough to wear all day, and that slightly utilitarian shape stops them looking like loungewear.

The Terra Pants are made from Le Bon Shoppe’s soft cotton jersey, with an elasticated waistband and a long, straight leg. The fabric has enough weight to hang properly, which is important with a shape this wide. Then there are the oversized patch details running down the legs — a little nod to workwear and Le Bon Shoppe’s Gardener’s Pants — plus side seam pockets.

In black, I think they’re particularly good. The seams and panels are subtle, but they give you just enough detail to make a very simple black trouser interesting. Wear them with the matching Soft Jersey Supple Tee for a brilliant head-to-toe black set, or with a smaller tee or shirt if you want to play with the proportions.

Made in South Korea. Garment dyed and washed, so slight variations in colour and fit are part of the finish.
