Dilophosaurus Dinosaur in a Collectable Box

Anyone who's watched Jurassic Park will recognise this one. With its enormous, colourful neck frill, sharp teeth and rather menacing expression, the Dilophosaurus is a dinosaur that knows how to make an entrance.

This brilliantly detailed figure has a green body with dark markings, a spiky yellow back and a dramatic orange and red frill surrounding its head. The real Dilophosaurus lived during the Early Jurassic period and was named after the two distinctive crests on its skull. The famous frill, however, is a little Hollywood invention, which makes this version all the more fun.

The dinosaur comes in a deep burgundy collector's case with checkerboard detailing, a little carrying handle and its own illustrated fact card. Open the case to reveal your prehistoric creature, then pack it safely away when the adventure is over.

A fantastic gift for dinosaur-loving children, particularly those who like their prehistoric creatures on the slightly terrifying side. Equally good for imaginative play or proudly displaying on a bedroom shelf.
