Geometric Welcome Little One Greeting Card

Bold graphic sunflowers in yellow and aqua, their stems rising from a deep green and black diamond check — the design has the clean, flat confidence of a 1970s Scandinavian print, all geometry and good colour sense. "CONGRATULATIONS ON THE ARRIVAL OF YOUR LITTLE ONE" runs across the bottom in a coral banner, capitals and all, which sounds like it should be too much and somehow isn't.

The landscape format gives it a different presence on a mantelpiece than the usual portrait card, and the palette — forest green, sunshine yellow, aqua, coral — sidesteps the expected new baby colours entirely without feeling contrived.
