A pink rotary telephone. A disco ball. A lava lamp. A unicorn. A rubber duck. "Dear Diary" in cut-out lettering. "Dream World" assembled from mismatched ransom-note type in the middle of it all — this second collaboration between Pipsticks and Haricot Vert has the feeling of someone's subconscious laid out very neatly on a white background.
Where their first sheet leaned into a Parisian patisserie world, this one casts the net wider — a yellow vintage car beside a crossword puzzle, asparagus next to a matryoshka doll, a horse portrait beside a balloon animal. The logic is dream logic, which means it shouldn't work and absolutely does. Photorealistic rendering throughout, with foil accents catching the light on select details.
Over seventy individual stickers on a 4x4 inch clear-backed sheet, which is a lot to work with — journalling, collage, covering a laptop, layering onto a sketchbook. The kind of sheet you go through slowly because you keep finding something you'd forgotten was there. A proper gift for someone who collects beautiful, slightly strange things.
