A creative, kids' holiday club.

Following its successful launch this summer, Playhaus will be back during October half term. Award-winning brands Cissy Wears and CocoRio will continue their partnership in delivering a fun, creative kids' club based out of Cissy Wears in Coal Drops Yard.

If sipping peacefully on a coffee by the canal, catching a workout class or dipping into the surrounding shops child-free sounds good, then this is for you.

Whilst parents and carers are revelling in new-found free time, the group of children will be engaged in creative activities led by a DBS-certified childcare provider, with a second childcare assistant present. Activities will start with a name tag decorating exercise in store as an ice-breaker. Following that, performance-focussed activities will be held around and near the store at Coal Drops Yard. The session will end back at the store.

Both creative nannies work with CocoRio, London’s creative childcare agency and recent winners of Club Hub’s Leader of the Year Award 2024. CocoRio prides itself on offering childcare with a difference by giving parents the opportunity to hire creative professionals like musicians, artists, dancers and actors as their fully-vetted, experienced nannies. The aim? To nurture, inspire and teach children new skills, from singing to sewing, one session at a time. Each session follows a unique creative learning framework, as CocoRio aligns their resources with the Early Years Foundation Stage principles and takes inspiration from elements of the Montessori method and the Finnish education system.
