Circus Seal 1st Birthday Card

One! An excellent age. Everything is exciting, nobody expects you to share and smashing food directly into your own face is actively encouraged.

Your first year is quite the achievement when you think about it. You've learned to sit up, probably mastered some form of movement, acquired several teeth and worked out exactly which noise makes the adults come running fastest. Not bad for twelve months.

This first birthday card features a very accomplished seal balancing a ball on its nose, which feels appropriate. The birthday child may not be quite ready for circus work yet, but they've almost certainly developed an equally impressive repertoire of tricks for keeping a room full of adults entertained.

A lovely first birthday card for a one-year-old, without the usual teddy bears, balloons and acres of baby blue or pink.

One whole year. Huge.
