Polar Bear Hot Chocolate Cut-Out Greeting Card

A tin of hot chocolate in card form. Obviously we’re into this.

Designed by Charlotte Farmer, this letterpress cut-out card is shaped like an old-fashioned tin of powdered hot chocolate, in the best pink, with a polar bear sitting proudly on the front. ‘Powdered hot chocolate, Quality in every cup’completes the whole slightly retro packaging thing.

It’s festive without actually shouting Christmas, which I really like. The polar bear and hot chocolate do all the work, while the pink keeps it far away from the usual red-and-green Christmas card situation.

And because it’s die-cut around the tin rather than printed onto a standard rectangle, it looks brilliant standing up on a shelf or mantelpiece. More tiny piece of illustrated ephemera than greetings card — and definitely one that’s going to hang around long after Christmas is over.
