Properly crisp, deeply chocolatey and finished with a flick of sea salt — these Tuscan biscuits take a classic country recipe and push it somewhere slightly more interesting.

Handmade in small batches for Seggiano by a family-run bakery in Tuscany, each biscotto is made with organic butter and eggs, keeping the ingredient list simple and the flavour clean. The texture is fine but firm, with that satisfying snap you expect from a traditional Italian biscuit.

Dark chocolate runs through the dough, balanced by delicate buttery notes, while sea salt sharpens everything just enough to stop it feeling sweet. It’s not a gimmick pairing — just a thoughtful contrast that works.

They’re excellent alongside strong coffee, good tea or even served with dessert in place of something softer. Crisp, grown-up and quietly addictive, without being heavy.

A classic Tuscan biscuit, reworked with salt and chocolate and made the slow way by people who know what they’re doing.

May contain traces of almond, walnut, pistachio.
