Konges Sløjd Glitter Markers

Twenty-four glitter markers feels wonderfully excessive. Not six sensible colours with a silver thrown in, but an entire row of shades running from black, bronze and purple through pinks, peaches and yellows to mint, emerald and every possible blue.

The glitter is worked into the colour rather than sitting on top like glue, so you can actually draw with these properly. They’re brilliant for lettering, colouring, cards and adding small sparkly details to drawings without immediately covering the table in loose glitter. Which, as far as I’m concerned, is a significant improvement on actual glitter.

I particularly like the less obvious colours in here. The smoky grey, olive, lilac and pale aqua make the set feel much more interesting than the usual rainbow selection, while there are still plenty of unapologetically bright pinks and blues.

And then there’s the box. Pale buttery yellow, retro lettering and a tiny bow-tied kitten sitting in a cherry bowl. Konges Sløjd stationery packaging is becoming almost unfairly good.
