Mini Rodini Rabbits Application Sweatpants

Black sweatpants, but not remotely plain. Mini Rodini has put one of its brilliantly strange rabbits mid-flight across the leg, complete with red bow tie, blue eyes and tiny patterned paws. It’s exactly the sort of detail that makes a pair of joggers much more fun without covering the whole thing in print.

The rabbit is an appliqué rather than a flat print, which gives it a lovely bit of texture and makes it feel properly part of the trousers. I particularly like the placement down towards the calf – slightly unexpected and very Mini Rodini.

The shape is classic and easy: relaxed through the leg, elasticated waist and gathered cuffs at the ankle. Black makes them incredibly useful, while the cream, red and blue embroidery gives you plenty to work with on top. I’d probably keep everything else quite simple and let that ridiculous rabbit have its moment.
