Jellycat Amuseables Peanut Cat Outfit

It began as fancy dress. Amuseables Peanut turned up to a birthday party expecting a dress code, discovered there wasn’t one and decided to create his own anyway. Enter the cat outfit.

One outing inevitably became several. Halloween followed, then International Cat Day, and at some point Peanut simply decided there was no particular reason to take it off. It is now officially his preferred travelling outfit, which feels entirely reasonable when you look this good dressed as a cat.

Underneath, he’s still the same little Peanut, with his soft golden-brown shell, tiny cordy legs and trademark tuft sticking out at the top. Over it goes a wonderfully fluffy black cat costume, complete with pointed ears and a long tail. The Peanut face peeking out from all that black fur is particularly good.

He’s apparently become extremely convincing too, successfully fooling several close friends – even Jellycat Jack. Amuseables Bean remains unconvinced. You can change the outfit, but apparently you can’t disguise that tuft.

Quite possibly Peanut’s finest look yet.
