Bobo Choses Baby Lilac Crossed Velvet T-Shirt

I like that Bobo Choses has left this one alone. The tiny embroidered logo is all it needs. The velvet is the reason you'd pick it up in the first place, so covering it in a print would almost have felt like a shame.

The wrap front is the bit parents will appreciate most. It opens out properly, so you're not trying to coax a tiny head through a neckline, and the hidden poppers make those endless outfit changes that little bit easier. Those first few months involve enough faff already.

The oversized shape gives it a lovely relaxed feel too. There's plenty of room to wriggle, stretch and nap, and because it's a body, everything stays neatly in place when they're picked up, cuddled or carried around. It's just one less thing to think about.

The soft lilac is a lovely alternative to the usual baby palette. It works beautifully with cream, chocolate brown, moss green or simple denim if you're layering up, and it still feels every bit as timeless as the more traditional colours.
