Girl Hugging Teddy Bear Glass Christmas Ornament

A little girl in her best pink dress with a teddy bear almost as big as she is. The way she’s leaning her head against him makes this one feel like it has come straight from the pages of an old children’s book.

She’s dressed in layers of pale pink with tiny white lace details, golden shoes and rosy cheeks, while her teddy has a turquoise bow, stitched markings and a wonderfully pleased expression. The soft colours and old-fashioned painted faces give the whole thing a lovely nostalgic feel.

Handcrafted in Ukraine, each ornament is individually mouth blown from German glass before being painted by hand using vibrant Italian paints. Fine glitter picks out the lace, bow and smaller details, and because every piece is finished by hand, slight variations make each one individual.

Presented in a gift box, it’s one to keep and bring out every Christmas. A beautiful gift for teddy bear collectors, new parents, children, or anyone drawn to vintage-style Christmas decorations that feel as though they might already have a story behind them.
