Christmas Tree Iron-On Embroidered Patch

The Christmas tree is watching you.

A brilliantly shaggy embroidered tree from Petra Boase, complete with a gold star on top and a pair of enormous eyes peering out from between the branches. There are no baubles, no tinsel and no attempt at tasteful festive restraint. Just a slightly suspicious-looking tree, which feels about right by the time December properly gets going.

The different shades of green embroidery give the branches loads of texture, while the googly-style stitched eyes turn what could have been a perfectly respectable Christmas tree into something much better.

Iron it onto a sweatshirt, denim jacket, tote bag or stocking for an instant bit of festive nonsense. It’s big enough to make an impact on its own, so there’s really no need to start covering everything you own in Christmas patches. Unless, obviously, that’s the plan.

A very good little stocking filler for children and adults alike.
