The rabbit is doing all the work here. Huge blue eyes, red ears, a ridiculously smart bow and a tiny matching red tail, all appliquéd and embroidered rather than simply printed onto the front. The closer you look, the better she gets.

The grey melange is a very good choice too. Against something brighter this rabbit could all get a bit sweet, but the grey changes it completely. The cream, tomato red and cobalt blue really stand out, and I love the red stitching around the ears and the slightly fuzzy texture of the appliqué against the cotton.

Made from 95% organic cotton with 5% elastane, it has that bit of stretch that makes a fitted long sleeve top much nicer to wear. The shape is simple: round neck, long sleeves and a neat fit that will sit happily under dungarees, cardigans and sweatshirts without loads of fabric bunching underneath. I’d put it with loose jeans or cords and leave everything else fairly plain.

The rabbit is plenty. Slightly eccentric, extremely well dressed and looking very pleased with herself.
