Konges Sløjd Confetti Crayons

These are SO good. Eight chunky crayons, each one packed with little flecks of different colours, so you never quite get a single flat shade when you draw with them. The green has darker greens and brown running through it, the pinks are properly pink, and even the black and white one comes out looking far more interesting than a normal crayon.

I also really like the shape. They’re thick, satisfyingly solid and completely paper-free, with that slightly old-school wax crayon feel that makes you want to cover an enormous sheet of paper rather than carefully colour inside the lines. And because the colours are mixed right through the crayon, scribbling is actually where they’re at their best.

There are eight different colour combinations in the box, all visible through the little window in Konges Sløjd’s brilliantly retro bunny packaging. Very good present territory, particularly for children who already have approximately nine million ordinary crayons.
