Jellycat Amuseables Garlic

Garlic has arrived at the Halloween party, and suddenly everything is considerably more fun.

A wonderfully plump little bulb with soft cream fur, stitched segments and a tuft of sage green leaves on top, Amuseables Garlic has the usual cordy legs and that very pleased little Jellycat face. Quite rightly too. Garlic knows exactly what he brings to the table.

Apparently it’s vibrancy and depth, which feels suspiciously like someone at Jellycat has been reading the tasting notes. Either way, within minutes of Garlic arriving everyone is talking, the dance floor has filled up and somehow he’s been persuaded to perform another song.

There are obvious advantages to having a garlic bulb around at Halloween, although Jellycat seem rather more interested in his natural charisma than his usefulness against vampires. We’d argue there’s room for both.

He’s enthusiastic, persistent and apparently impossible to forget once you’ve met him. Not bad going for something usually found lurking at the bottom of the vegetable drawer.

And, importantly, no garlic breath.
