Retro Roly‑Poly Tumbler Doll White M

Those enormous blue eyes, little red lips and rather startled expression. This retro roly-poly doll looks like she's wandered straight out of a mid-century toy catalogue, and I absolutely love her.

Dressed in white with a deep red bonnet framing her face, she's got a wonderfully old-fashioned look. Her round body, rosy cheeks and tiny red buttons give her the appearance of a little character from a vintage children's illustration. And those eyes! They're almost impossible to ignore.

Give her a gentle push and she'll wobble from side to side before popping straight back upright. There's a weight hidden in her rounded base that keeps her moving, making this one of those brilliantly simple toys that children can return to again and again.

Roly-poly dolls have been entertaining children for generations, and it's easy to see why. No batteries, no complicated instructions. Just a funny little character who refuses to stay lying down.

A charming addition to a nursery or playroom, and a particularly good find for anyone who loves the look of traditional toys.
