Honestly, this might be the most accurate card ever made.

Because everything really does happen so much. Work. Birthdays. Group chats. School WhatsApps. Other people's problems. Your own problems. Things you've forgotten to reply to. Things you apparently agreed to six weeks ago. And somehow another person needs a present.

“Everything happens so much” works for almost any occasion because, frankly, nobody really knows what's going on anyway. Birthday? Yes. Bad week? Absolutely. New job? Probably. General acknowledgement that life has become an unnecessarily complicated admin exercise? Perfect.

The cheerful multicoloured lettering against the black background makes it look reassuringly upbeat while delivering what is essentially a tiny existential crisis.

Send it when “congratulations”, “happy birthday” or “hope you're okay” doesn't quite cover the situation.
