Tiny bathroom ghosts with excellent personal hygiene. The Smiski Bath Series hides a collection of glow-in-the-dark figures quietly getting on with their evening routine — shampooing, scrubbing, staring blankly into the middle distance and generally existing in the slightly strange way only Smiski can. Equal parts bathroom shelf decoration and tiny emotional support creature.
Each figure is made from phosphorescent material that absorbs light during the day before glowing softly at night, which somehow makes them feel even more at home perched beside a toothbrush holder or tucked into the corner of a bath. The pastel aqua colour palette and retro packaging lean fully into that calm, slightly nostalgic Japanese design world Smiski does so well.
Inside the series are six different bath-themed characters to collect, plus a secret figure hidden randomly in selected boxes. There’s even a tiny duck involved, which feels important.
Sold individually in sealed blind boxes, so part of the fun is not knowing which odd little bathroom companion you’ll end up with. Very good gift territory. Very hard to stop at one.
